Another South Korean boy band 5-member formed by Daesung Entertainment (DSP Entertainment) debuted on June 8, 2005. This group called themselves SS501 (pronounced as Double-S 501). Their junior was KARA, A'ST 1 & Rainbow. Their official fan club is known as "Triple S". Currently this group started split. Starting with their group leader Kim Hyun Joong. He leave DSP Entertainment & signing new contract KeyEast Entertainment. This was followed by Park Jung Min to join CNR Media, Kim Hyun Jun for S-Plus Entertainment & Heo Young Saeng & Kim Kyu Jong both signing with B2Ment. Althought the members are under different companies, SS501 will retain its name & will still produce songs. All of the members' companies have stated that SS501's activities will be top priority in their contracts.
