Katrina Kaif Enjoys Working with Akshay Kumar

Katrina Kaif has worked with many beautiful actors of Bollywood like Cute Ranbir Kapoor, Prefect Salman Khan, Hot John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh but she reveals that she enjoyed working with her co-actor Akshay Kumarthe most.

She quips as why she enjoys working with Akshay Kumar the most, That’s because Akshay and I have done so many films together…it’s been like a journey. It’s easy to create friction on the sets of a film. But when we were doing our first film together, he had to understand me. I was a little different. But when he got to understand me, he knew that I was harmless! So he used to let me talk…so he knows how to make his co-star feel good and energetic all the time.

Katrina Kaif is extremely excited to be an integral part of ‘Rajneeti’. Many questions arise regarding her acting capability and with this film, she wanted to prove everyone wrong. Katrina said, Yes I want to be taken seriously, but that’s not an attempt to any image building. For me, it’s a great script with a great director.

Raajneeti is a very special film, different from what I’ve done so far, she added.

I Hate Love Stories Movie Review

Karan Johar has been often accused of being hyperactive on portraying candy-floss entertainment in all these years. His latest entrant I HATE LOVE STORIES, a chirpy "feel-good" romantic entertainer brings out this confrontation through the mindsets of two leading characters, played by Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan. Experimental and urbane to core, this reality-check on love-relationships promises frothy cum peppy music in its kitty, from hot "n" happening Vishal-Shekhar (V-S). After serenading out vivaciously vibrant trendy-beat soundtracks in DOSTANA (2008), this musical duo is likely to be casting another magical spell for the producers. In the past, KJo's immaculate record and choice of soundtracks has been making right moves and so expectations are reasonably high. Can this "love-hate" chemistry of love-birds have that extra pep-fizz to lure urbane listeners? Can we expect another chartbuster from ever-dependable Vishal-Shekhar in this much accepted genre of "feel-good" cinema? Fingers crossed and hope high as we plugged into its first soundtrack with sheer optimism.

Vishal Dadlani's coarsely blended rock-cum-reggae singing attire sets the pace and space for lively love-chemistry in series of event in peppy sounding "Jab Mila Tu". Anvita Dutt Guptan punches script-oriented wordings that delivers amiable graph between odd couples that are poles apart but still communicates. Its grungy rock-appeal had stringy electric guitar blues that are paced eclectically with spirited percussive moves in groovy reggae textured beats. Like "Jane Kyun" (DOSTANA -2008), it communicates in actions rather than delivering out emotions in melody and make mood frenzy. It targets campus-capers and so does it succeed with its refreshingly tangy melodic flavors that are surely going to have many takers. The initial thump of the album is eclectic as well as affirmative to be lapped at once. Do expect it to be next cool-ish sporty number (somewhat like "Hai Junoon" from NEW YORK) among teenyboppers when its racy signature tuneful makes it loud impact on media circuits.

Don't mind the title, I just don't know what to call it.
[15.05.2010]
Saturday

Li Hsia, Elissa, David and I celebrated Michelle's 19th birthday @ Times Square.
The actual day of her birthday is 3rd of May,
but we were busying with our new semester and stuff so we postponed it till today.

The first thing we did was watching this:

Nightmare on Elm Street, a remake from 1984.
I have not seen the old version yet but Michelle said it was funny and
the new one was really violent and more real.
Damn Freddy so cruel. One heartless pervert.
I seriously don't know about this friction character exists until today. Omg.
The movie's kind of scary for me. I don't really watch this type of film.
Elissa and Li Hsia screamed at the beginning where Freddy first appear.
Haha, it was like...really funny because they were clueless that this is a horror movie (they thought it's a comedy or smth like Scary Movie) and it wasn't their first choice either.
Plus, they were like the only few who screamed in the hall.
Hahaha. I won't talk much about the movie since it is a remake.
The only sad thing is that too many people died in the 'hand' of Freddy!!!
Freddy the evil serial killer.
Overall rating: 6/10

David insisted we take a few pics before we go for lunch.
We had our late lunch about 3.30pm at a steamboat restaurant but I don't remember the name.

Secret Recipe cakes!!! We heart the durian cake.

Bashed by David.

Last pic before we split up.

Last pic of the day that David beg/force us to take.

David's really a camwhore. I've never seen any guy who loves to take photos so
much!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!!!

---

Another movie that I've watched a few weeks ago with Amanda.

Iron Man 2 - must watch!!!

I totally forgot what had happened in IM, so I was quite confused at the beginning.

Thus, watch IM before IM2. This is a good advice. :)

Bombshell Scarlett. Love her hair!!!

26282010 genting trip

Have been wanting to blog about last month's Genting trip for weeks and I finally have the patience to upload the pics.
This was my first ever 3D2N trip with college mates.
It was for girls only because we have to share a tiny room (really small for 10 people!) at the First World Hotel. The babes: Jae, Miraii, JoEe, LiHsia, Evian, Pui Yung, LiChen, JiaYing, Maggie and I. Omiigosh, this was also my first time staying at the FW Hotel!!! I normally stay at Ria or Awana if I go Genting so you can stop gasping now.
On the first day, we met up at KL Central for the bus. However, Jae didn't buy the bus tickets earlier, so we missed the bus. After discussing for like 10 min, we decided to catch two cabs straight to the hotel. As you know, cab fee ain't cheap. =x
Lazy to describe the trip, so...
Some sleeping some playing cards while waiting for our check-in.

Evian's skeleton key.

Jae & Miraii bought one of these on our way back to the hotel. Very cute right?
Mine =P
Korean candies!!!

Second day-A day at the theme park,
too bad the weather was inconsistent.

Fun ride *inside joke.
Side A versus Side B - see which side is the loudest.
Don't know which side started screaming first. Haha, I know it's lame. But it was really fun!

What were they looking at? Aeroplane?
We went to the arcade on our final night. Won about 2000+ tokens!!!!
So we split the tokens up and got ourselves Genting's colourful sticky notes each.
The gifts are very handy for students like us. Heh.

The organizers. Thanks for the effort! :)

Credits to Miraii and her Nikon.
More pics on Facebook.
Had so much fun that 3 days although it was a short.
Arrived in KL about 2pm by taxi again on the 28th of April.
