Finally, sem break is here! Although it's only a 10-days break, it is sufficient for me to catch back all those TV-series and dramas! This is SBS recent k-drama which I've been wanting to write about for quite some time - 49 days, one of the k-dramas I enjoy watching this year.

Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won)

I find her pathetic and at the same pitiful in the drama. Yi Kyung's life become miserable and sad ever since her love one died in an accident. She couldn't accept the fact and has been living as a zombie for 5 years. She works night shifts in a convenience store and lives on cup noodles every day. Her daily routine is basically eat-sleep-work.

She doesn't socialize as she feels there's no reason to. In short, she's living for no reason at all. I know it's hard to face it when your lover or family member died, but it is just so wrong if you decide not to get over with because the living has to move on instead of staying put on the same spot for a half decade.

Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri)

Ji Hyun comes from a wealthy family. She has everything she wanted but her world falls apart when she met an accident which puts her in a coma. Ji Hyun is then given a second opportunity to "get her life back" if she is able to collect 3 drops of tears from those who truly loves her apart from her family members in 49 days. To do so, she is allowed to "enter" Yi Kyung's body when Yi Kyung is asleep.

Before the accident, Ji Hyun is naive. She believes that everyone will be fond of her if she always treat them good. However, she realized that she was wrong. She was disappointed as she thought her close friends would genuinely cry for her but they think she overdone with her kindness towards them. Adding salt to the wound, she found out that her fiance, Min Ho is not what she think he is. She tries to save her father's company from falling into wrong hands.

Shin In Jung (Seo Ji Hye)

In Jung is one of Ji Hyun's best girlfriends since high school. In Jung is in love with Min Ho since he rescued her in the alley from being kidnapped years ago. She and Min Ho then plot something awful in order to get want they desired. Their plan almost didn't work out when Ji Hyun met a car crash.

Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae)

Han Kang loves Ji Hyun since he transfer to her high school but he doesn't have the guts to express himself to her. Ji Hyun gets upset as she thinks Han Kang always bully her. He owns a small restaurant which he then employs Yi Kyung. He is surprised when he eventually sees Ji Jyun's behavior and attitude in Yi Kyung.

Kang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin)

Min Ho is Ji Hyun's fiance and they were about to get married in a few days before the accident. He's In Jung partner in crime. They have been planning to overtake Ji Hyun's father's company for years. Marrying Ji Hyun is a part of their plan. Min Ho is also a playboy as he likes Ji Hyun, In Sung, and Yi Kyung.
