Revenge is ABC Family's new drama, and surprisingly, it catches my attention after airing the pilot episode. Since then, I idolize it every Wednesday night. Not to say that it is that exciting, but it sure is really interesting and dark. Well, maybe not for all those who can forgive-and-forget kind of people because "this is not a story about forgiveness".

The cast of revenge...this sentence sounds so wrong. 0.o

Intelligent, attractive, young and wealthy Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) integrates herself among the society's elites of the Hamptons with an intention of seeking revenge for those who are responsible for her deceased father, David Clark. Emily is born Amanda Clark, she changed her name in order to proceed with her plan of taking down a group of rich people who get her father arrested for treason many years ago, in which he does not commit and was wronged by the people involved.

Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) aka Queen Victoria is one of the most powerful and influential women in the Hamptons. She loved Emily's father and had an affair with him before his downfall. This makes her as Emily's primary target. Queen V does not see eye-to-eye with Emily as she senses that mysterious Emily is not just any the-girl-next-door and cannot be fully trusted. Her husband, Conrad (Henry Czerny) is also as powerful and wealthy as she is.

Damn, isn't Joshua Bowman cute? I think he is. Bowman plays Daniel Grayson, the only son of the Graysons. Daniel recently came back from Harvard and looking for an internship at the Hamptons. He is immediately attracted to Emily without the knowledge of her motives. He is also a drinker and used to be a playboy before he met Emily.

Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) is a genius software inventor. Back then, his talent was only approved by Emily's father, who invested with his personal money for Nolan's development. To show his his gratefulness towards Mr Clark, Nolan tries to help Emily in taking down the group of responsible people. He is also the only one who knows Emily's motive of moving back to the Hamptons, this also means that he knows all about Amanda.

Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler) is just an ordinary son of a tavern's owner. He is Emily's childhood friend. Jack falls for Amanda (Emily's birth name) and named his boat after her. Ahhh, how sweet! He doesn't recognize Amanda all grown up, but Amanda's dog (which now belongs to Jack) does.

Now, now, you will surely recognize him if you watch Gossip Girl. And yes, he is Connor Paolo, who played Serena van der Woodsen's little brother. In Revenge, he is Jack's younger brother, Declan. Declan has a thing for Charlotte (Christa B.Allen), who happens to be a Grayson. He tries to impress her in many ways that he is capable of, financially.

Revenge definitely become one of my favorite new tv series. It has almost everything that I ever wanted for in a tv series: dark, drama, mystery, romance, suspense...just to name a few. Oh yeah, and a bit of eye candy to drool over with! Hahah.

Sad to say, but the suburban housewives of Wisteria Lane are biding farewell after the 8th season, which is set to begin on 25th September in the U.S. It is kind of unexpected because it was said that this hit series, Desperate Housewives would last until the 9th season. The news was confirmed by ABC.

On the bright side, MTV released a new teen drama recently - Teen Wolf. It is inspired by the original 1985 film with the same name. Yeah, there are quite a number of movies and series on werewolves and vampires already, The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, and Twilight, just to name a few. I thought this drama was going to be like very teenager-kind since it is called "Teen" Wolf, duh, but is sure surprises me in almost every episodes and it is darker and slightly scarier to be called a series for teenagers.

The 2011 Teen Wolf stars Tyler Posey (remember the cute young boy from Maid in Manhattan?), Dylan O'Brien, Crystal Reed, Tyler Hoechilin, Holland Roden and Colton Haynes.

Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, the 16 year-old boy who was bitten by an Alpha and turned into a young werewolf. Scott becomes stronger, faster and angrier as he grows. Scott has to control his anger frequently to avoid hurting those he cares, especially his lover, Allison and his best friend, Stiles. At the mean time, he is hunting for the Alpha who changed his life forever with a little help from his "frenemy", Derek. He also always has to keep an eye away from the Argent's silver bullets.

No doubt that Scott McCall is the perfect role for Posey. His six pack may not as eye candy as Taylor Lautner's from Twilight, Posey sure have this boyish cute look which I believe almost every girl would fall for. I mean, look at those adorable brown eyes! Ahhh. Heart melts.

Scott is very lucky to have Stiles who really cares about him and risks his life to help Scott even though the werewolf Scott tries to gobbled him up every time. And of course Allison, the only one who is able to calm Scott down when he is about to turn into a wolf. The lovebirds look cute together, don't they?

Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, the new mysterious girl in school and also Scott's sweetheart. This is where things get interesting - her family are the werewolves hunters, which she soon discovers. Because of her complicated family history, she has to struggle with her family background and the human-lycanthrope romance.

I bet that Allison will take over her aunt's place and become a professional werewolves hunter in the next season. It has to be, right? Since it's her family thing and it is in her blood. Allison is also talented with bows and arrows, this add some points to the hunter-to-be "prophecy", eh?

Stiles Stilinski is played by Dylan O'Brien. Stiles is Scott's best friend since childhood (but it seems like Stiles is his only friend in the series). He's a quick thinker and always help Scott. Stiles has a whole lot of balls, he stands up for Scott even when he faces with the Alpha and the gruesome Derek. Stiles also has a major crush on Lydia. She's like a goddess to him. He gets jealous when Lydia is into Scott. Awww. Stiles' old man is the cop who is in charge of the murder case of Derek's sister.

I just love Stile's effortlessly smirks and his funny expressions! Okay, we haven't see him shirtless yet, but hey, there's still a chance right? Maybe in Season 2, fingers crossed! And it's hard to find a true friend like him. I mean, how many normal people who still hang out with their best friend after they discover their best friend is a superhuman that could be deadly dangerous when their mood goes out of control? Most of them would be scared off! But not Stiles, he's the man yo!

Tyler Hoechilin as Derek Hale, the natural-born Beta. He's in town to hunt for the ones who are responsible with his sister's death, which turns out to be the Alpha. He couldn't take down the Alpha on his own, thus he demanded the teen Beta, Scott to assist him. Derek also has a romance history with Allison's aunt.

I wonder where Derek's loyalty will lie after he becomes the Alpha. Is he going to be the good or bad wolf since he's the strongest werewolf in town now.

Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) was the popular girl in school before she was dumped cruelly by Jackson for his "big change". She is also Allison's close friend.

During the season finale, she was bitten by the Alpha. There are a few possibilities of outcomes: whether she will die, become a female werewolf, or "something more". Stiles and Scott poked into her ICU room and noticed that her wounds are not healing like a werewolf's. If she isn't a werewolf, then what is she? But the Alpha said that she will either die or become a werewolf? And what is it about Allison's visions of bloody Lydia? Shoot me now, I can't wait for next year already!

Jackson Whittemore (Colton Haynes) is the co-captain of the school's lacrosse team, in which he was supposed to be the captain, but Scott took that away from him. This makes Jackson hates him more. Jackson threatens Scott to turn him into a werewolf after he found out about Scott's secret. He wants to be as strong and as fast as Scott, but he doesn't realize or care about the consequences even though Scott told him about the Argent's family. Jackson even made an attempt to be close with Allison to freak Scott out.
